Walter Buford "Butch" Fike, aged 88, passed away on July 19, 2024, in Winter Park, Florida. He was born on March 20, 1936, in Knoxville, Tennessee.

He is survived by his wife, Judy Fike; his daughter, Janelle Fike Grimm (David); his son, Bruce Fike (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Alix Grimm, Sarah Stamper (Hugh), Rebeccah Grimm, Caroline Grimm, Madison Fike and Peyton Fike.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Geoge Paul Fike, Sr. and Rebeccah Fike, and his brother, George Paul Fike, Jr.

A memorial service to celebrate Walter's life will be held at All Saints Episcopal Church of Winter Park, Florida, on July 30, 2024, at 3:00 pm.  A graveside service will be scheduled in the future in Lake City, Florida. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to your local Hospice. Cremation arrangements are under the direction and care of GATEWAY-FOREST LAWN FUNERAL HOME.
