Mr. Vincent Mark "Vinnie" Azevedo, 69, passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2023, at the VA Hospital in Lake City, FL following an extended illness. He was preceded in death by his parents Fernando and Jean Morgan Azevedo one brother Fred Azevedo and a sister Jeanne Phelps. After moving here from Conneaut Lake, PA, he had made Lake City his home for the past thirteen years. Mr. Vincent served his country in the United States Navy for eight years, was a member of the Salvation Army, and had owned several businesses and was a published author (two of his books are in the Columbia County Library), and enjoyed woodworking, arts and crafts, computers, and was Microsoft certified.

Mr. Vincent is survived by his wife of thirty-four years Denise Azevedo, Lake City, FL. three sons Vincent Mark Azevedo, Jr. Milton, FL; Aaron Azevedo (Amanda) Val Rico, FL; and Charles Beveridge, Jr. (Deliliah) Lake City, FL. one daughter Cassandra Beveridge, Lake City, FL; two brothers Roger Azevedo (Bernice) and Jerry Azevedo (Nannette) both of Sault Ste. Marie MI; two sisters Lynn Legge (Clint), and Tammy Garcia (Mark)both of Westmoreland City, PA. Four grandchildren also survive.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
