Victoria "Vicky" Ann Dennard

Victoria Ann “Vicky” Dennard, 58 of Lake City, passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2026 at her home. She was born in Punta Gorda, Florida and had made the North Florida Communities of Wellborn, Live Oak and Lake City her home all of her life. She was a graduate of Suwannee High School class of 1987 and attended Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Wellborn. Mrs. Dennard was a homemaker and loved nothing more than raising her family. When able, she enjoyed gardening, crafting, sewing, quilting, watching Hallmark movies, collecting Tom Clark Gnomes and taking care of her cat “Callie”. Mrs. Dennard was preceded in death by her father, David DeWitt Bennett; two step-mothers, Nancy Bennett and Maurene Scarff Bennett; step-father Wayne Butler; and her father and mother in law, Joseph and Elizabeth Dennard.

Survivors include her husband, Steven J. Dennard of Lake City; her children, Dana Dennard Pettrey (John, III) of McAlpin, Jordan Renee Dennard and Danielle Ann Dennard both of Lake City and Sherri Wilson and Jeremy Dennard both of Lake City; one brother, Johnny Bennett, Lake City; one sister, Sonia Anderson (John) La Vernia, TX; two nephews, Jonathon Keel of Live Oak and William Keel of La Vernia, TX; seven grandchildren, Abigail Pettrey, Jaxsen Pettrey, Ambrie Pettrey, Cody Wheeler, Jacob Wheeler, Trent Dennard and Ryan Dennard; and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Dennard will be conducted on Thursday, July 30, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with Bro. Justin Shaw officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. A time of visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the funeral from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the church.
