Velda Adele Wilder, 92, of Live Oak, passed away peacefully early Saturday morning, April 1, 2023, at the Have Hospice - Suwannee Valley Care Center in Lake City after an extended illness. She was born in Dowling Park, FL on September 16, 1930, to the late Alvin Lucius Clark and Martha Avie Haye Clark. She has lived all her life in the Live Oak area and was a homemaker and a seamstress. She was a member of the Westwood Baptist Church in Live Oak; and in her spare time, she enjoyed cooking, sewing, and making crafts. She is preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Dennis Wilder; grandson, Michael Wilder; and her siblings, Julian Clark, Fannie Barrs, and, Lois Clark.

She is survived by her sons, Alvin Wilder (Sherry) and Mike Wilder; her brother, William Clark (Marilyn); and her sisters, Juanita & Inez Clark. Five grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren also survive.

A graveside funeral service for Mrs. Wilder will be conducted on Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. in the Orange Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Ben Bush officiating. Interment will follow.
