Mr. Tye Alan Wood, 16, passed away on November 29, 2025, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Tye is a lifelong resident of Columbia County, making his home in Lulu, FL. He was preceded in death by a brother, Brandon Wood, and his maternal great-grandfather, Sox Smith, and paternal great-grandfather, Halbert Wood. Tye attended Christ Central Ministries, he was a Sophomore at Cambridge Prep Academy, and was a member of the FT. White and Columbia High School Bassmaster's fishing team. He was a Florida Gator Fan and enjoyed spending time with his family and reading his bible and studying, and learn about his faith. He had started his summer of 2025 by opening his own business, "TW Mowing." His family said, "he was an OL Sole in a young body."

Tye is survived by his parents Brandon and Maria Wood, Lulu, FL; his sister Brianna Wood, Lulu, FL;  his maternal grandparents Ed and Sally Bosket, his paternal grandparents Donald and Lorie Wood, Lake City, FL and paternal grandmother Anita Hartley, Providence, FL; his maternal great-grandmother Margie Smith, Providence, FL; his paternal great grandparents Jane Wood Lake City, FL; his girlfriend Rorie Lee, Wellborn, FL; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.

A funeral service for Tye Alan Wood will be conducted on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. at New Zion Church with Pastor Lonnie Johns officiating.
