Tony Stafford Brannon, 65 of Lake City, passed away on Thursday, August 11, 2022.  He was born in Lake City, the second of four children to the late Stafford Brannon and Betty McNeal Brannon.  Tony was a lifelong resident of Lake City and was a graduate of Columbia High School class of 1975.  He was raised attending Fellowship Baptist Church and later in life attended the Lake City Church of God.  Tony worked for many years helping his father on the family farm and also with Occidental Chemical Corp in White Springs.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time at Horseshoe Beach.

Survivors include his three children, T.J. Brannon (Christy), Lake City, Megan Brannon, Lake City and Amanda L. Jackson (Jed), Live Oak; three sisters, Lynda Cauley, Lake City, Teresa Brannon, Lake City and Melodie Tessier (George), Live Oak; nine grandchildren, Tieler, Gavin, Tanner, Caleb, Terryn, Corbin, Tegan, Avery and Crew; and a host of nieces and nephews also survive.

A celebration of life service will be held on Thursday, August 18, 2022 at 11:00 AM at the Lake City Church of God with Rev. Carl Thomas and Bro. Dale Brannon officiating.  Private interment will follow at a later date at Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery.  A time of visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
