Tina Louise Hesters, 52 of Lake City, passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2024 at the Rucki Hospice Care Center in Zephyrhills, Florida.  She was born in Wichita, Kansas, was raised in White Springs, Florida and attended Hamilton County High School in Jasper.  Tina was currently working at the Sumter Correctional Institute and had been employed with the Florida Department of Corrections for 18 years.  She enjoyed doing puzzles, hunting, fishing, shopping, collecting owls and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.  Tina loved nature and being outdoors, going to the beach, the mountains and waterfalls.  Her favorite flowers were tulips and lilies.  Tina was preceded in death by her father, Otto E. Williams, Sr.; and two brothers, Otto E. Williams, Jr. and Terry Lee Biffle.

Survivors include her husband, Roger A. Hesters, Lake City; her mother, Martha Morgan, Jasper; her four children, Clinton Stormant, Jacksonville, Hannah Lee (Joshua), White Springs, Alexis Cieslik (Jesse), Wylie, TX and Jarrod Jones, Lake City; four siblings, Jerry Lee McAdams, Anthony Fields (Christine Tooke), Ft. Meade, Anne Williams (Rondale Cato), Jasper and Christopher McPhearson, Jasper; five grandchildren, Cayden, Jase, Warren, Logan and Carsyn; and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, June 14, 2024 at 12:00 Noon at the Watertown Congregational Methodist Church in Watertown with Rev. Randy Ogburn officiating.  A time of visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the service at the church from 11:00 AM to 12:00 Noon.  For those sending flowers for the service, please request the florist to deliver the flowers to the church on Friday.
