Timothy Robert Walker, 49, of Lake City, passed away Monday evening, July 15, 2019. He was born in Miami, Florida on November 9, 1969 to the late James Robert and Joann Grantham Edgerly. He has made Lake City his home for the past five years, moving here from the Miami/Central Florida area. He was currently employed by the University of Florida where he was a Computer Security Risk Analyst. Mr. Walker had his Master's Degree and was nearly finished with his Ph.D. In his spare time, he enjoyed astronomy, going to Disney and playing war dragons.

He is survived by his wife of twenty-eight years, Charlyne Walker of Lake City, son, Charles Jefre Walker of Lake City, mother-in-law, Doris Pollock of Lake City and his aunt and uncle, Eugene & Sandy Grantham of Trenton. Many friends also survive.

A celebration of life gathering will be held on Monday, July 22, 2019 at Gateway-Forest lawn Funeral Home from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 Noon. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to a scholarship at Florida International University in Mr. Walker's name.
