On Saturday, September 11, 2021 Thomas Michael Davis went to play the giant video game in the sky. Thomas Michael Davis, 31, was born in Gainesville on Saturday May 12, 1990. He graduated Class of 2009 from Columbia High School. During his life we worked at many local establishments. Those that shopped at these places always remembered him for how friendly he was, like the customers at Beauty Shop where he worked many years. If you knew Thomas, you knew his one obsession, video games. Thomas had three families in life. The family he was born into, the family (friends) from local area and those that gamed with him on line. Thomas was a man that left a wake when he arrived, you knew he was there, he made sure you knew. Thomas was a soul that gave when he could to those he thought needed help. His departure from this earth on September 11, 2021 has left a void to many people.

Thomas was preceded by his mother, Sharon S. Sheddan, maternal grandmother Linda Lou Barkevich, paternal grandfather Thomas H Davis and Uncle Theodore P Jordan.

Thomas is survived by father and stepmother Wesley and Tracy Davis, maternal Grandfather Michael & Bonnie Baker, paternal grandmother Phoebe Jordan, siblings Wesley & Robert Davis, Andrea & Mike Staley, Joshua & Sheila Davis, Heather & Hunar Parke, Charles & Jenny Clark, Joyce Sheddan and Will Sheddan  and numerous aunts Cindy and JB Waldron, Tina & Mark Barta, Terri & Greg May, uncles Joey & Annie Barkevich, Dan & Callie Barkevich, Tony Clark two nieces Alli and Olivia and nephew Tyson along with numerous cousins. His family does not stop with just those mentioned. Thomas' family went beyond normal means. From where he worked locally to those he spent time gaming with across the internet. There were few that he met that were not touched by his personality.

Due to recent family health issues, the family is not having a funeral. Rather we will be holding a Celebration of Life closer to end of year. We will post on his Facebook and local paper as to location and time. The family is not receiving flowers at this time.
