Mr. Terry Stephen Smith, Sr., 71, of Bell, FL passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at his residence. A native of Lake City, he was the son of the late Albert Stanton and Dorothy Edna Tyson Smith. Mr. Smith had been a resident of Lake City and Union County most of his life. He graduated from Union County High School in 1969 and retired from Farm Bureau Insurance Company after 30 years of service. He enjoyed traveling in the US and abroad, camping, and spending time in the mountains. Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his siblings, Charles E. Smith, Christine Petry, Albert Marvin Smith, Sr., M. Wayne Smith, Larry S. Smith, and stepmother, Zelma Smith.

Terry is survived by his children, Terry Stephen "Snuffy" Smith, Jr.(Amy), Janet Smith Kilgore (Kevin), John D. Bellotte, Courtney Blanchard (Matt), Jasmine McCunniff (Randy); brother, David L. Smith (Gloria); eight grandchildren also survive.

Graveside funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Lake City. Interment will follow. Visitation with the family will be from 1:00-2:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home (one hour before service).
