Mr. Terry E. Caltrider, 67, passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at the HCA Florida Lake City Hospital following an illness. He is the son of the late Vernon E. and Dorothy Spicer Caltrider, Sr. and was preceded in death by his brother Vernon E. Caltrider, Jr. Terry had lived in Lake City for the past thirty years after moving here from Baltimore, MD, where he worked for Department of Transportation for twenty-six years. He also enjoyed working and restoring old cars, fishing, spending time with his family, going to swap meets, going to car shows, and going to races.

Mr. Terry is survived by his wife of forty-one years Kathy Caltrider, Lake City, FL; his son Wayne Curtis McDonald, Lake City, FL; one sister Suzanne Howard, Tawney Town, MD, his nieces Teresa Petry, Carol Keller (Wesley), Kelli Caltrider (Kristen), his nephew David N. Howard. his great-nieces Candace Roxby, Brooke Keller, and Kaitlyn Keller. and his great-nephews, Matthew Roxby (Alyssa), Kyle Keller (Heather), Wesley Keller, Jake Dunn, Zachary W. Howard and Kyle Petry. His great-great nieces and nephews Dawson Bailey, Aidan Brown, Brennon Roxby, Jaidyn Roxby, Luke Roxby, Eli Roxby, Landon Keller, Haleigh Keller, Zachary Clary, Scarlett Permenter, Weston Keller, and Eden Keller.

Visitation with the family will be held on Monday, February 17, 2025, from 5:00-7:00 pm at Gateway Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
