Terri Joanne Vining, 67, passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2013 at the Suwannee Valley Care Center (Haven Hospice). She was born in Jacksonville, Florida to the late Clarence and Louise "Newsome" Townsend. Terri and Frank have lived here in Lake City for the past 10 years. She was a dedicated wife and scorekeeper, a wonderful mom, grandmother, and a loving sister.
Survivors include her husband of 46 years, David Franklin Vining of Lake City, FL; daughters, Amanda Louise Vining (Joshua Ellwein) currently residing in VA & Julie Joanne Vining Hammond of Land O Lakes, FL; sister, Cherrie Townsend-Pryor of Jacksonville, FL; Grandchildren, David William Hammond, Logan Danne Ellwein, Jenna Joanne Hammond, and Avery Kie Ellwein.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00,on Wednesday, July 3, 2013 in the chapel of Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Pastor Robert Davis officiating. Visitation with the family will be held one hour prior to services (10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.).
