Mr. Terrence John Hastry, 64, passed away on Friday, December 30, 2022, at his residence. He is the son of Mary Ellen Petrilak and the late Thomas Joseph Hastry and is preceded in death by his brother, Kieron Hastry. Terrence made Lake City his home for the past thirty-six years after moving from Albany, GA. He was a devout Christian and most recently attended Lake City Church of God. He served his country as a member of the US Navy and worked for UPS for over 25 years up until his retirement. Terrence enjoyed spending time with his family, friends, and pets, walking and enjoying the outdoors, watching sports, and studying the Bible. Mr. Terrence is survived by his wife of forty years Rose Hastry, Lake City, FL; one son Daniel Hastry (Jessica) Melbourne, FL; one daughter Jennifer Gillis (Elvis) Lake City, FL; one sister Petrine McInvale (David) Macon, GA; one step-brother Frederick Daniel Suttenfield, Shepherdstown, WV; two step-sisters Diana Carroll Suttenfield Abshire, Shepherdstown, WV and Dawn Suttenfield Maedje, Columbia Falls, MT; and his three grandchildren Maddison Gillis, Cayden Hastry, and Cameron Hastry.
