Tapiben Bhagabhai, 93 of Jacksonville, passed away on Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at the Baptist South Center in Jacksonville.  She was born in Surat, Gujarat, India to the late Bhagabhai Maisuria and Ratanben Maisuria.  Tapiben had made her home in the United States since the early 1990's moving there from Fiji Islands. She was a devout Seventh Day Adventist in her later years and loved learning of her faith.  Tapiben loved cooking, gardening and spoiling all of the dogs in her family.  Above all, Tapiben's life purpose was giving of her time and taking care of her son, grandsons and great-grandson.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Dahyabhai Bhagat; and her son, Yogesh Chand.

Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Rekha Yogesh Chand; two grandsons, Ketan Yogesh Chand (Wendy Reighard) and Ravin Yogesh Chand; her step son, Jaswantbhai and his family, Nalini, Yogita, Bharti and Dipika; and numerous great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Bhagabhai will be conducted on Thursday, August 7, 2025 at 3:00 PM in the Gateway-Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel with Pastor Rudyard Lord officiating.  Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.  A time of visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the service in the chapel from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
