Mrs. Suzanne C. Melton, 77, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 25, 2024.  A native and lifelong resident of Lake City, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Louise Bedenbaugh Colley. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who enjoyed living on the river, spending time with her family, and directing and participating in church activities. Suzanne was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jim Melton, in 2014.

Suzanne is survived by her children, Alan Melton and Keri Melton Siler (John);

grandchildren, Ethan Melton (Lauren), Emily Melton, Hayden Siler, and Alexander Siler; sister, Carolyn Miller; sister-in-law, Mary Jim Melton Campbell (Bill).

Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, April 29, 2024, at the

Bethel Methodist Church Cemetery (HWY 441 South) with Pastor Louis Tremblay

officiating. Interment will follow. Visitation with the family will be held from 4:00-6:00
