Mr. Stephen H. Webb Sr. , 65, passed away on Thursday, December 24th, 2015 at Shands Lake Shore Hospital. He was born in Lake City to the late Joseph "JT" and Lucy N. [Hart] Webb and lived here for a number of years. Stephen graduated from Columbia County High School, Class of 69, before traveling to West Palm Beach for several years, where he was a K-9 Handler for Ranger Construction Co. and then a Detention Center Deputy for the Palm Beach Sheriff Office, finally coming home to Lake City in 1993. He was a loving father, and grandfather who enjoyed being outdoors fishing, restoring his 49' Ford Pickup, any kind of auto racing, (NASCAR, Drag Racing,… ) and racing Go Carts himself. His greatest joy though, was by far, the time spent with his family, his children and grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Kay Hybart Webb; his children, Kimberly Webb, Stephen Webb, Joshua Webb, Eryn Morris, and Cody Gallegos; grandchildren, Alexis Webb, Brooke Webb, Joey Webb, David Gallegos, Anthony Gallegos, and Alyssa Watt; brothers, Joseph T. (Janice) Webb Jr. and Roger O. (Kim) Webb; sister, Jeanette Steedley.
