Shirley Joan Johr, 85 of Lake City, passed away on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at the Haven Hospice Suwannee Valley Care Center in Lake City.  She was born in Tiview, West Virginia to the late Howard Swick and Audra Corley Swick.  Mrs. Johr had made Lake City her home since 1984 having previously lived in Michigan, North Carolina, Louisiana and Ohio.  She was of the Methodist Faith and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Lake City.  Mrs. Johr worked in Real Estate for many years and enjoyed volunteering at her church, working with children and doing her yard work.  She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Ingo Johr.

Survivors include her children, Scot Ferguson (Kathleen), Pell Lake, WI, Ingo "J.J." Johr, Jr., Lake City and Leslie Ferguson Phillips (Robin), Lakeland; four grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Per Mrs. Johr's request, no services are scheduled at this time.  Mrs. Johr will be interred with her late husband at Jacksonville National Cemetery in Jacksonville, Florida.
