Sherri Lynn (Winders) Howland

Jan 23rd 1953 – April 27th 2025

Sherri Lynn Howland, 72, resident of Hawthorne, Florida, passed on Sunday April 27th  peacefully and comfortably surrounded by family at Haven Hospice.

Sherri was born and grew up in Miami, Florida to the late Rodney Winders and Mary Lou (Hoyt) Carter. Sherri lived in Hawthorne, Florida for 44 years, surrounded by her immediate family. She was a Wife, a Mom, a Sister, an Aunt, and Neice, who was loved by many. She worked in various secretarial positions and later earned a degree in medical transcription and worked as a transcriber. She and her late husband, Paul Howland, enjoyed 46 years of marriage before his passing in 2023. In her final days, she spent her time comfortably at her home with family, friends, and seeking a deeper relationship with Jesus!

She is survived by her daughter's; Lori Teets (Mike), Susan Hutcheson Wilson, her son; Kristopher Howland (Lisa), her sisters; Lorri Veenstra, Cindy Blanchard, Gayle Taylor, her grandchildren; David Hutcheson, Nikolas Wilson, Rodney Wilson (Roxanna), Levi Teets, Zachariah Goss-Radwan, Danielle Howland, Kaleb Howland, Jonathan Howland. Great grandchildren; Parker Hutcheson, Jadiel Wilson, Kasandra Wilson, Mia Wilson, Rosemary Wilson, Alaia Wilson, James Wilson, and numerous aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceeded in death by her husband Paul Howland, Brothers; Frank Winders, Rodney Winders and grandson: Irvin Cady Jr.

A graveside service will be held on Friday May 9th 2025 at Hawthorne Cemetery beginning with visitation at 3pm, followed by 4pm Service officiated by a longtime friend, Pastor Andrew Standridge..
