Sherlyn Lynette Ashe, 69, of Lake City, FL passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2017.  Sherlyn was born in Lake City, FL and was the daughter of the late Jesse L. and Agnes [Jones] Liston-Lepper. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother who enjoyed traveling, gospel music, and playing the piano. She loved the Lord and served as church pianist at Eastside Baptist Church for 42 years. She is preceded in death by her parents, step-father (Merle John Lepper), and her brothers, Carl, Roger, and Leon Liston.
Survivors include her son, Steve (Cristie) Ashe of Lake City, FL; daughter, Deborah (Terry) Thompson of Vero Beach, FL; grandson, Zech (Tori) Thompson of Apex, NC; sister, Audrey (Rick) Shumaker of Panama City, FL; step brothers, John (Connie) Lepper, Al (Sue) Lepper and Mike (Lynn) Lepper and a host of nieces & nephews.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday; January 20, 2017 in the chapel of Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
