Mrs. Sarah Morrison, 92, passed away peacefully at home in the early morning hours of Wednesday, July 11, 2023. She was the daughter of the late Herbert Roundtree and Effie Corey Lewis. She was preceded in death by 11 siblings, her son, Joe Morrison, and granddaughter Jodie Morrison.  Sarah has been a resident of Lake City since 1970 and enjoyed mass at Epiphany Catholic Church. She was an avid gardener and seasoned traveler. She enjoyed spending time with her family and spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Sarah is survived by her husband of seventy-one and half years Thomas Morrison, Lake City, FL; her two daughters Donna Autry, Summerville, SC; and Christine Morrison, Sun City, FL; two sons Thomas Morrison Jr. (Lisa), Fernandina Beach, FL, and John Morrison, Gainesville, FL. SIBLINGS; Five grandchildren Jennifer Morrison, Rachel Eddings (Steven), Michelle Peeler (Randall), Aaron Autry, and Sarah Jo Autry. Three great-grandchildren Roxonna Eddings, Liam Eddings, and Morgan Peeler, and a host of nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Morrison will be conducted on Friday, July 14, 2023, at 4:00 P.M. at the Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Father Sebastian officiating. Visitation with the family will be held one hour prior to service. Interment will take place at a later date at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
