Sarah P. Bailey, 82, passed away on Friday, May 29, 2015 at the Baya Pointe Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Coolridge, Georgia to the late James and Fannie Mae [Underwood] Bales and had lived in Wellborn, Florida for most all of her life. Mrs. Sarah was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who enjoyed gardening, watching the Western Channel, the annual Mule Day Festival, and playing jokes on family & friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, and her devoted husband of 46 years, Woodrow "Buck" Bailey (1994).
Survivors include her sons, Alfred (Marianna) Bailey of Colorado Springs, CO and Gary Bailey of Wellborn, FL; daughter, Sheila (William) McGhin of New Port Richey, FL; brother, Crandall (Ernestine) Bales of Lake City, FL; 4 grandchildren & 1 grandchild also survive.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 in Wellborn Cemetery with Reverend Dusty Bailey officiating. Visitation with family & Friends will be from 10:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at the cemetery prior to services.
