Sandra Paulene Joyce, 72 of Lake City, passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at the Haven Hospice Suwannee Valley Care Center.  She was born in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Andrew and Willie Mae Cody Turner.  Mrs. Joyce had made her home in Lake City since 2000 and was a longtime resident of Lakeland, Florida.  She was of the Pentecostal faith and enjoyed doing her plastic canvas crafts.  Mrs. Joyce was preceded in death by her two sisters, Joyce Heffner and Shelia Hobbs.

Survivors include her husband of over 50 years, William R. "Bill" Joyce, Lake City; her son, David Joyce (Denise), Lake City; two daughters, Amber Joyce, Lake City and Kyrn Durham (Ronald), Tavares, FL; and 3 grandchildren, David A. Brindac, Jr. (Kayla), Oxford, FL, Deistiny Brindac, Taveres, FL and Bryce Joyce, Lake City.
