Ms. Ruth Helen Norton, 72, passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2022, at her residence following an extended illness. She was the daughter of the late Stanley and Jean Hanson Marz, she is preceded in death by one brother Michael Marz and a sister Betty Warchol. Ms. Ruth had made Lake City her home for the past twenty-two years after moving here from Minnesota, she was of the Lutheran Faith. Ms. Ruth worked with Walmart for the past eighteen years, she enjoyed spending time with her family and enjoyed crocheting and knitting.

Ms. Ruth is survived by three daughters Kris Ramsey (Paul) Lake City, FL; Billie Jo Mattson, Lake City, FL; and Tracy Mattson (Jake) Ft. White, FL; one brother Jeff Marz (Mary) Moderna, CA, two sisters Dorothy W, WI, Brenda Mulherin (Forrest) Moderna, CA and four grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren also survive.
