Mrs. Rozzie Jean Carroll, 73, of Lake City died Monday, December 05, 2011, at Suwannee Health Care in Live Oak following a lengthy illness. A native of Wauchula, FL, Mrs. Carroll was the daughter of the late Walter and Olive Brannon. She had been a resident of Lake City since 1961. Mrs. Carroll was a loving mother and grandmother and took good care of her entire family, and enjoyed reading and doing yard work. She was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church in Lake City and was preceded in death by her husband Wilbur Carroll, and son David Wayne Carroll.
Mrs. Carroll is survived by her sons, Ricky (Daphane), Jeff (Kelly), and Bobby (Ruth); daughter, Barbara Stone; grandchildren, Benjamin Carroll, Daniel Carroll, Michelle Carroll, Jessica Carroll, Bobby Carroll, Jr., Heather Carroll, Mary Stone, Barbara Ann Stone, and Amanda Carroll; and three great grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mrs. Carroll will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, December 8, 2011 at the Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend James Roberts officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held from 5:00-7:00 P.M. Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
