Rosemary Calabrese, 71 of Lake City, Florida, passed away in the early morning hours on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at her home.  She was born in Queens, New York to the late Walter Forino and Marie Zaccheo Forino.  Mrs. Calabrese had recently made Lake City her home having previously been a long time resident of Venice, Florida.  She was raised in the Catholic Church and had recently been studying the Baptist faith.  Her passion in life was being a wife, mother and grandmother.  She enjoyed cooking for her friends and family, being outdoors and gardening.  Mrs. Calabrese was preceded in death by parents and two sons, Matthew Calabrese and Timothy Michael Calabrese.

Survivors include her husband, Dane Calabrese, Lake City; three children, Dawn Guido, Venice, Dane Calabrese, Jr., Venice and Joseph Calabrese (Nicole), Lake City; one brother, Walter Forino, Maryland; one sister, Jacqueline Harris, Baltimore, MD; eleven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, May 2, 2021 at 2:00 PM at the Unity Church of Venice at 125 N. Jackson Road, Venice, FL 34292.
