Roselle Brantley, 82, of White Springs, Fl., passed away on Friday, April 1, 2016 at Shands Live Oak.

Born on June 15, 1933 in Ellabell, Ga., to the late Robert Dixon and Ruthen Cannon.  Mrs. Brantley moved to White Springs, Fl., in 1965. She has been a member of First Baptist of White Springs for 53 years, and was a Hostess at Burger King in Lake City. Fl., for many years. Mrs. Brantley also loved riding her Bicycle all over White Springs.  She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 34 years, Lee Roy Brantley, her brother, Elton Dixon, and sister, Vida May Dixon.

Survivors include her two sons; James Ross Brantley (Sharon) of Live Oak, Fl., David Brantley (Debra) of White Springs, Fl., one daughter; Annette Mims (Ronald) of Branford, Fl., brother; Devie Odell Dixon ( Beverly), of Pasadena, Tx., sister; Ouida Hardwick (Ralph) of White Springs, Fl., 10 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services for Mrs. Brantley will be conducted at 11:00am on Thursday, April 7, 2016 at First Baptist of White Springs with Rev. Brandon Witt and Pastor Randy Ogburn officiating. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery. Visitation with the family and friends will be held from 5:00-7:00pm Wednesday evening, April 6, 2016 at the Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
