Ronald "Ronnie" Thompson, 63, of Lake City, passed away on Sunday, September 19, 2021. He was born in Jacksonville on June 11, 1958 to Beatrice Monds Thompson and the late Harold W. Thompson. He has made the Lake City Fort White area his home most all of his life and was a Truck Driver by trade. He was a member of the Elim Baptist Church, and in his spare time, he enjoyed bowling, fishing, riding his ATV's and side by side at the mud bogs; and in his younger years, he played golf and softball.

He is survived by his wife of over 20 years, Robbie Thompson; mother, Bea Thompson; daughter, Patricia Hendricks; and son, Timmy Thomas (Alexis) and his brother, Mike Thompson. He is also survived by his two granddaughters, Bailey Leann Hendricks and Addilyn Thomas.

A graveside service for Mr. Thompson will be conducted on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. in the Elim Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Larry Sweat officiating. Interment will follow.
