Mr. Ronald Benson Shinall, 68, of Lake City, passed away on January 23, 2020 in Lake City after a sudden illness. He was born in Jacksonville on June 16, 1951 to Margaret McDonald Shinall and the late Sam S. Shinall, Jr.. He has make Lake City his home since 1995, moving here from the Jacksonville area. He was an Electrician by trade and was a United States Marine Corps Veteran. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and doing coastal fishing.

He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Paula Clark Beauchemin Shinall; mother, Margaret McDonald Shinall; son, Ronald B. Shinall (Ashley); brothers, Gary Shinall and Chuck Shinall; sister, Pam Meadows; step-daughter, Iva Beauchemin and step-son, Virgil Beauchemin. Numerous extended family members and friends also survive.

Per Mr. Shinall's request, he was cremated and services will be held at a later date and time.
