Ronald "Ron" S. Briscoe, 59, of Lake City, Florida, passed away on Monday, January 27, 2014 at the Suwannee Valley Care Center (Haven Hospice) after a long hard battle with cancer.
He was born in Ft. McPherson, Georgia to William "Bill" Briscoe and Evelyn "Westmoreland" Briscoe and had lived here in Columbia County for the past nine years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and son who loved golf and the Georgia Bulldogs, and was the Manager of The Money Man.
He was preceded in death by his father William "Bill" Briscoe.
Survivors include his devoted wife, Twana Briscoe; son, Brandon (Wendy) Briscoe of Grovetown, GA; and step son, Tony (Casey) Mobley of Lyman, SC; daughter, Andrea (Andy) Morris of Grovetown, GA and step daughter, Tennille Mobley of Supply, NC; mother, Evelyn Briscoe of Loganville, GA; brother, Steve (Jackie) Briscoe of Lake City, FL;
Sisters, Donna (Michael) Kelley of Easley, SC and Ann Briscoe of Loganville, GA; 4 grand daughters and 2 grandsons.
Memorial services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on, Thursday evening,
January 30, 2014 in the Gateway-Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel with
Reverend Michael Graham officiating. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Suwannee Valley Care Center (Haven Hospice) at 6037 U.S. Hwy 441 S. Lake City, FL 32055.
