Ronald Gene "Ronnie" Maddox, Sr., 54, of Lake City, passed away on Wednesday evening, December 17, 2025. He was born in Hammond, Indiana on January 9, 1971 to the late Donald Gene Maddox, Sr. and Wanda Jane "Janie" Arnold Maddox. He has made Lake City his home all of his life, and was a Concrete Worker most of his & became a Handy Man as he got older. Ronnie was a "Jack of All Trades" type person. He enjoyed lending a helping hand to anyone that needed it, and would be willing to give anything a shot when trying to either fix things, or helping someone with anything; he just loved trying to be helpful to others. He is preceded in death by his brother, Randall Gene Maddox; a sister, Victoria Maddox; and his parents along with several aunts and uncles.

He is survived by his sons, Corey Maddox, Joshua Maddox (Kayla) and Ronald "RJ" Maddox, Jr. all of Alabama; sister, Ottie Maddox of Lake City; brothers, Billy Maddox, Donald "Don" Maddox, Jr., Austin Maddox and Richard "Richie" Maddox (Mitzi) all of Lake City and Don Maddox of Jacksonville; His two special aunts, Bonnie Ward of Lake City and Gloria Cox of Indiana & his uncle, Emmett Arnold of Ocala; and his special cousins, Barbara & Ronald Norris of Lake City. Several grandchildren, cousins, nephews and friends also survive.

Per Ronnie's request, there will be no services at this time. Arrangements are under the direction and care of GATEWAY-FOREST LAWN FUNERAL HOME.
