Mr. Roger Dell Romine, 64 of Wellborn, passed away on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family.  He was born in Moultrie, Georgia to the late Cecil H. and Frances Meads Romine.  Mr. Romine had made his home in Wellborn for the past 31 years and was a longtime brick mason in Macclenny and Baker County communities.  He enjoyed raising his hogs and watching Florida Gator Football.

Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Betty J. Romine, Wellborn; his son, Rodney Romine, Wellborn; his daughters, Latasha Crary (Lea), Lake City, Andria Romine, Wellborn, Kalie Romine, Live Oak, Destiny Romine, Wellborn and Dedra Boykin, Ft. White; his brothers, Earnest Leo Romine (Sandra) and Cecil Romine, Jr. (Sharon) all of Lake City; his sisters, Susan Ann McGrew (Laton), Lake City and Marie Smith (Bill), Chattanooga, TN; ten grandchildren and one great-grandson also survives.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at 11:00 AM in the Gateway-Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel.  Interment will follow at McClellan Cemetery in Wellborn, Florida.  Visitation with the family will be Friday evening from 5-7:00 PM at the funeral home.
