Roberto Rivero Hernandez, 77, of Lake City, passed away on Sunday, November 7, 2021 after an extended illness. He was born in Havana, Cuba on February 28, 1944 to the late Amado Hernandez and Rosa Rivero Hernandez. He was a Carpenter by trade and of the Catholic Faith. In his spare time, he enjoyed wood working, working with his hands, spending time with his grandchildren as well as helping with the babies in the Daycare with his wife. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Adianez Hernandez.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Karon Hernandez; sons, Robert Hernandez, Jr. (Addia), George Hernandez and Roger Hernandez. Four grandchildren and one great-grandchild also survive.

A Memorial Service for Mr. Hernandez will be conducted on Friday, November 19, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. in the Gateway-Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel with Dr. Mike Tatem officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 A.M. prior to the service at the Funeral Home.
