Robert E. "Bob" Weaver, Jr.

Robert E. "Bob" Weaver, Jr., 85, of Lake City, passed away on Sunday afternoon, June 21, 2026 at the Haven Hospice - Suwannee Valley Care Center in Lake City after an extended illness. He was born in Pittsburgh, PA on July 8, 1940 to the late Robert E. Weaver, Jr. and Betty McConnell Weaver, and was a United States Army Veteran. He has made Lake City his home since late 1997, moving here from the Orlando Area and worked as an Accountant with TIMCO, and an Accountant in the Aviation Industry for many years before retiring. In his spare time, he enjoyed studying the Civil War and Collecting Civil War Memorabilla, watching sports and playing Fantasy Football. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of over 43 years, Patsy Weaver; and several siblings.

He is survived by his sons, Frank Williams, Mark Williams (Kaori) and Danny Weaver; daughters, Barbara Lynch and Kim Guercio; brother, Jerry Weaver and his sister, Jane Znamirowski. Several grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Saturday evening, June 27, 2026 from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at the Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
