Robert Gerald Stalvey, 81, of Lake City, passed away on Monday, September 27, 2021 at the Solaris Healthcare after an extended illness. He was born in Branford on November 8, 1939 to the late Samuel T. Stalvey, Jr. and Iris Hall Stalvey. He has made Lake City his home most of his life and worked for over 30 years with PCS. He was a member of Evergreen Baptist Church and in his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, watching wrestling and old westerns and loved a good meal. He was known as a bit of a food coinsure amongst his family. He is preceded in death by his wife, Melissa Stalvey; and his siblings, Celeste Williams Wickline, Sam Stalvey, III and Esther Ritcher (Bill); and his loving "Fur Child", Ricky.

He is survived by his brother, Mike Stalvey, Sr. (Debbie) of Lake City along with many nieces and nephews also survive.

A funeral service for Mr. Stalvey will be conducted on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. in the Gateway-Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel with Rev. Jerry Tyre officiating. Interment will follow in the Siloam Cemetery. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation beginning at 10:00 A.M. prior to the service.
