Mr. Robert Allen McWilliams, 85, passed away on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at his home peacefully following an extended illness. He is the son of the late Clarence and Rebecca Sauborn McWilliams. He is preceded in death by one brother, Paul McWilliams. He made Lake City his home for the past twenty-one years after moving from Maryland. He served his country in the United States Navy. He was a member of Hopeful Baptist Church and spending time with his family, and enjoyed photography, fishing, camping.

Mr. Robert is survived by his wife of sixty-five years, Janice McWilliams, Lake City, FL; two daughters, Becky Barton, Fernandina Beach, FL, and Roberta Wade (Robert), Lake City, FL; one sister, Karen Carpenter (Bill), Fairmont, WV. Seven grandchildren Melissa Gollery (Brian), Dennis Barton, Stephanie Talley (Adam), Kevin Barton, Robert Wade, and Levi Wade, and Joshua McCracken. Five great-grandchildren are Luke Gollery, Logan Wright, Isaac Gollery, Owen Wright and Lillian Talley.

A graveside service for Mr. McWilliams will be conducted on Friday, July 25, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. at Hopeful Baptist Church Cemetery with Dr. Charles Scribner officiating.
