Robert lee McMurrain, Jr. it is with great sadness that the family of Robert Lee McMurrain, Jr, announces his passing after an unexpected illness on January 7, 2023at the age of 78 years old. Robert was born on November 29, 1944, in Birmingham, Alabama. Robert graduated from Middletown High School in Rhode Island and he attended Birmingham Southern College. Robert worked more than twenty years as a finance Company Manager and he was a retired Corrections officer Sergeant with eighteen years of service. Robert had made Lake Butler his home since 1996 after moving here from Alabama, he was a member of Victory Assembly of God church for the past twenty years and was a University of Alabama Football Fan.

Robert was very active in promoting the Gospel and Revelation of Jesus Christ. With his brother, Gary Mcmurrain, they held Revivals throughout Alabama and had a radio Ministry together a number of years. Together they also founded The Wings of Deliverance Evangelist Association. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Robert McMurrain, Sr and Norma Sherron. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of fifty-five years, Arlene Harris McMurrain, his brother Gary McMurrain, Gary's wife Juliet Grace Paciao McMurrain, his nephew Garryl McMurrain and his niece, Margarita McMurrain, other family members and his dog Jack.

A memorial service in honor of Robert will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. at the Victory of Assembly of God Church in Ellisville with Reverend Roger Siter officiating.
