Robert H. "Bob" Green, 72, passed away on Friday, June 6, 2014 at the Lake City Medical Center after an extended illness. He was born in Denver, Colorado to the late Ward and Gertrude "Schwedtmann" Green and has lived here in Lake City since 1980. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who enjoyed devoting his time to his family, fishing and being a guide at Bienville Plantation. He proudly served his country with the United States Air Force (1963 – 1967) and was stationed in Pakistan during the Vietnam War. Robert was a member of the American Legion Post
# 57. He retired as a Corrections Officer with the State of Florida, having worked at both Columbia & Baker Correctional Facilities. He was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ LDS, Deep Creek Ward. He is preceded in death by his parents, and his brother,
Dale W. Green.
