Robert E. "Bob" McGraw Jr., devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, and loyal friend, passed away peacefully August 13, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, service, and laughter.  Born with a strong sense of duty, Bob answered the call to serve his country as a member of the United States Army, bravely serving in Vietnam. His dedication and courage in the face of hardship reflected the values he carried throughout his life.

After his military service, Bob built a long and successful career with Georgia Pacific's Lake City division, retiring after years of hard work and dedication. Outside of work, he embraced life's joys with enthusiasm. Bob loved nothing more than spending a day on the golf course, tinkering with his beloved classic cars, strumming his guitars, and mastering the art of grilling and smoking his famous ribs for family and friends. Bob was a man of faith and a proud member of Epiphany Catholic Church in Lake City, where he found community and purpose. His warmth, humor, and generosity left an impression on everyone he met.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Carole McGraw; his two sons, Sean McGraw and Brian McGraw; step-children, Todd Bartlett and Terri Flannagan; his cherished sisters, Sue Pratt and Margaret McGraw; and multiple grandchildren who brought him immense pride and joy. His love for his family was boundless, and the memories he created with them will be treasured forever.

Bob's life will be celebrated in the hearts of all who knew him — a man who lived fully, loved deeply, and leaves behind a legacy of kindness, laughter, and steadfast devotion.

A memorial service honoring Mr. McGraw will be conducted on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Gateway-Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel. A time of visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the service in the Chapel.  Mr. McGraw will be laid to rest at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida at a later date.
