Mr. Robert R. "Bob" DeMoss, Jr., 76, of Live Oak passed away on Friday, June 24, 2022 at Haven Hospice Suwannee Valley Care Center. A native of Shreveport, LA, he was the son of the late Robert Randolph and Lena Rummel DeMoss and had lived in Live Oak since 1975. A Veteran of the U.S. Air Force, Bob retired from Windstream after 30 years of service and enjoyed golfing, camping, hunting, and fishing. He was preceded in death by his sons Robbie in 2004 and Keith in 2013.

Bob is survived by his wife Christine L. DeMoss of Live Oak; son, Charles Valentine (Donna) of Live Oak; sister, Marlene Williams of McAlpin; 4 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren  and many nieces and nephews and friends.

Funeral Mass for Mr. DeMoss will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 928 E. Howard Street in Live Oak, with Father Mike Pendergraft, Celebrant. Interment will follow in the Live Oak Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening, June 28, 2022 from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church building fund.
