Robert W. Cheetham, 76, died on Saturday, April 16, 2011 at the Lake City Medical Center. He was born in Springfield, Massachusetts to the late Norman & Lucy Bishop Cheetham. He has been a resident of Eastside Village since moving here from Feeding Hills, Massachusetts in 2005. He was a member of St. James Episcopal Church and in his free time he liked to coach kids sports, and fishing, but most of all he loved his family and spending time with them, especially the grandchildren. A loving husband, father & grandfather, whose presence will be missed deeply.
Survivors include his wife of fifty years, Joyce Cheetham of Lake City, FL; son, William (Debra) Cheetham of West Springfield, MA; daughter, Deborah (Charl ) Mattheus of Lake City, FL; brother, Donald Cheetham of Wilbraham, MA; grandchildren, Gary, Carl & Rhea as well as several nieces also survive.
Cremation services are under the direction of Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home 3596 South U.S. Hwy 441, Lake City, Florida 32025 (386) 752-1954.
