Robert C. "Bob" Breedlove

Robert C. “Bob” Breedlove, 81 of Lake City, passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2026 at UF Health Shands Hospital in Gainesville. Mr. Breedlove was born in Jacksonville, Florida to the late Eugene and Iris Breedlove. He was raised in Jacksonville and was a graduate of Englewood High School class of 1963. Mr. Breedlove furthered his education and graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor’s degree. He worked for 30 years with Unisource in Tampa and Orlando retiring in 2005. Following his career with Unisource he then worked for many years with Pango Sales serving the North Florida and South Georgia area. Mr. Breedlove was a member of Epiphany Catholic Church and had made Lake City his home for the past 10 years and had previously lived in the Orlando and Jacksonville area. He loved watching football, basketball and playing golf.

Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Elaine F. Breedlove of Lake City; his brother, Eugene “Skip” Breedlove (Lynn) of Jacksonville; and his step son, Jason Perry of Orlando.

A funeral mass honoring Mr. Breedlove will be conducted on Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Epiphany Catholic Church. Interment will follow at St. Madeleine Catholic Cemetery in High Springs at 1:00 PM.
