Robert Wayne Baxley

April 19, 1947 - February 26, 2025

Robert, son of Robert F Baxley and Ruby E Baxley was born in Abbeville South Carolina, he had three sisters Pamela Hanley, Diane McDermott, Debbie Crick. Robert was a Loving Father to five children Renee Terry, Robert A. Baxley, Michael Baxley, Robert Angelo, Shawn Baxley. Robert was married 35 years to Victoria K Baxley. He served his country from 1966-1969 in the Army. He started driving 18-wheelers in the early 70's and continued until 2009 when he retired to take care of Victoria. His hobbies included fishing, working on cars, watching westerns and muscle cars on TV, playing with his dogs George and Red and drinking coffee. He also enjoyed listening to CCR. Robert was a gentle kind-hearted man, a loving father and husband. Robert is preceded in death by his father Robert F Baxley mother Ruby E Baxley wife Victoria K. Baxley son Robert A Baxley and sister Pamela Hanley. He is survived by his sisters Diane (Sonny)McDermott, Debbie (Dan) Crick, daughter Renee Terry, sons Michael (Sherry) Baxley, Robert (Kelly) Angelo, Shawn (Alyssa) Baxley and he had 13 grandchildren (plus one on the way)  and 13 great-grandchildren. Services will be held at the Bushnell National Cemetery Wednesday March 5th at 11:00 a.m. followed by a celebration of life at Mike and Sherry Baxley's home located in Groveland Florida.

Funeral services for Mr. Baxley will be conducted on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.  Interment will follow with military honors.
