Robert A. "Bob" Evans, a loving husband, father, and "Papa", passed away on February 15th, 2025, surrounded by his family. He was 81.

Born on May 30th, 1943, Robert dedicated his life to service, both to his family and to his country. He grew up in a small Ohio town with his six siblings. After High school, he entered the United States Air Force on May 14th, 1964, and served with distinction for over two decades. Rising to the rank of Senior Master Sergeant, he retired on February 28th, 1985. During his military career, he bravely served in the Vietnam War, demonstrating unwavering commitment and courage.

Beyond his military career, Robert was known for his hardworking nature, kind heart, and steadfast dependability. With his sharp mind and playful humor, he was always able to lighten a mood and bring joy and fun to those around him. The twinkle in his eyes was a cherished aspect of his admiration to those he cared for. He deeply cherished his family and embraced his role as a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. His unwavering love and dedication left a lasting impact on those who had the privilege of knowing him. He is survived by his wife, two daughters, and six grandchildren. May his memory bring comfort to those who mourn his passing and inspiration to those who remember his strength and kindness."

Cremation arrangements are under the direction and care of GATEWAY-FOREST LAWN FUNERAL HOME. The family will be honoring the deceased with a private service at their home. Extended family and friends' welcome. Saturday, February 22nd. Contact family for details.
