Mr. Ricky Joe King, 64, of Lake City, passed away Friday, May 4, 2018 at the Shands University of Florida Hospital in Gainesville following an accident. He was born in Coleman, Alabama on April 25, 1954 to the late Edward Dewel King and Esther Fay Trussell King. He has lived in the Lake City area the last ten years, moving here from Palm City, FL. He was a construction worker who was known to work all the time, and was very creative with his hands. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding four-wheelers.

He is survived by his children; Randy Joe King of Alabama and Lori Sadler (Scott) of Mayo, FL; granddaughters; Zoey and Katie Grace; brothers; Donald Edward King (Roxanne) of Spring Hill, FL, Dewel Wayne King, Danny Ray King and Gary Ray King all of Alabama; sisters; Bobbie Fay Davenport (Joe) of Lake City, Dorothy May Tucker of Alabama, Gail James (Mackie) of Alabama, Judy Ann Bearden of Alabama, Frances Edmundson of Tennessee and Shirley Hogarth of Port St. Lucie, FL also survives.

Celebration of Life services will be conducted on Saturday, May 19, 2018 in Alabama.
