Rickey C Culpepper, Jr., 31 of Starke, passed away unexpectantly on Sunday, August 2, 2015 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Rickey was born in West Palm Beach, Florida and was raised in Lake City. He had lived in Starke for the past 5 years and worked as an Assistant Store Manager for Walmart in Jacksonville. Rickey graduated from Ft White High School in 2002 and the University of Florida with a Bachelor Degree in Political Science. Rickey was a Christian by faith. He enjoyed all the sports at the University of Florida especially Gator Football.
Survivors include his son, Cayden Jayce Culpepper of Starke; his father and mother, Rickey C Culpepper of Lake City and Tammy McLendon Kelley of Madison; his maternal grandfather, John T. McLendon, Lake City; his brother, Jason Culpepper, Lulu; and his two sisters, Tallie Culpepper, Ft. White and Sabrina Cittadino, Virginia Beach, VA. He is also loved and survived by his nieces, nephews, numerous extended family members and many friends.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Providence Village Baptist Church in Providence. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be two hours prior to the service on Saturday from 9-11:00 AM at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given if preferred to a trust fund for his son, Cayden Jayce Culpepper. For trust fund details, please contact Sabrina Cittadino at fwsabrina08@aol.com.
