Mr. Richard Delane Williamson, III, 26, passed away on Thursday, July 3, 2025, unexpectedly.  Delane was born on December 16, 1998, to Richard Delane Williamson, Jr, and Eva Marie Williams. Delane had made Lake City his home all his life and enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his fiancé and his daughter. Hunting and fishing, he was a member of the Ducks Unlimited Chapter and the National Wild Turkey Federation (NWTF) in Lake City. Delane had worked with Norton's Home Improvement and Bubba's Site Prep and Paving for the past four years.

Delane is survived by his fiancé Brianna Palmer, Lake City, FL his mother Eva Greene (Alan "Pops") Lake City, FL, his father Richard Delane Williamson, Jr (Kari) Suwannee County, FL; his daughter Ava Rose Williamson, Lake City, Fl; three brothers Bryar Burnham, Zackery Williamson, and Clayton Sanders, two sisters Hollie Greene, and Dakota Greene. His fraternal grandparents Richard Delane "Sonny" Williamson, Sr. (Annette), maternal grandmother Angela Durden, maternal grandfather Johnthan Williams, his great-grandmother 'Gigi" Rose Marie Goodbread, one uncle Steven Williamson (Julie) his two aunts Tomara Murphy (Michael), Sherri Harden, and Brianna Palmer's parents Kirsten Habig and Trinity Sanders. And a host of extended family also survive.

A memorial service for Mr. Richard Delane Williamson, III, will be held on Friday, July 11, 2025, at 3:00 P.M. at Gateway-Forest lawn Funeral Home memorial chapel. Visitation with the family will be held from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. at Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
