Richard Lamar Wainwright, 75 of Lake City, passed away on Wednesday, September 20, 2017, at Shands Live Oak Hospital in Live Oak.  He was born in Jacksonville, Florida to the late Roscoe and Annie Lucille Johnson Wainwright.  Mr. Wainwright was a veteran of the Florida National Guard.  He enjoyed picking his guitar, fast cars, cb radios and hunting.  He was preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Ann Greer.

Survivors include his step son, Douglas Jones, Lake City; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Graveside funeral services will be conducted on Monday, September 25, 2017 at 2:30 PM at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Pastor Eddie Griffis of First Baptist of Cuyler officiating.  Interment will follow.  Visitation with the family will be 45 minutes prior to the service at the funeral home from 1:30 PM to 2:15 PM.
