Richard Arnold Lucas, Jr., 71 of Lake City, passed away at his home on Tuesday, July 21, 2020.  Mr. Lucas was born and raised in Coudersport, Pennsylvania to the late Richard Arnold Lucas, Sr. and Cora Day Lucas.  He made his home in Lake City since 2005 having moved here from Boca Raton, Florida.  Mr. Lucas served in the United States Army for six years including one tour in Vietnam.  He was of the Methodist faith, Jack of all trades and he enjoyed tinkering on older cars

Survivors include his wife, Deborah Lucas, Lake City; three children, Melinda Onufry, Elded, PA, Robert Thompson (Dustin Doss), Landsdown, PA and Debra Thompson (Mary Eveleth), Lake City; one brother, Steve Lucas, Youngsville, PA; one sister, Margie Galloway, Mills River, NC; sister-in-law, Barbara Ferguson, Milton, GA; three grandchildren, Tabbitha Thompson, Sierra Blake and Noah Blake; and numerous extended family and friends also survive.

A memorial gathering for family and friends will be held in the Gateway-Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.  Family and Friends attending the gathering are encouraged to follow CDC social distancing guidelines.
