Obituary

Printice Eugene Harden, 80, of Lake City, FL, died Tuesday, March 11, 2014, at Suwannee Valley Haven Hospice in Lake City. He was born May 31, 1933 in Ocilla, GA, to the late Emory Franklin Harden & Sarah Elisabeth Millican Harden. After moving to Lake City in 1967, he worked in the School Bus Shop for 21 years and had also served in the Army. He had been a member of the First Full Gospel Church for 44 years where he served as Secretary/ Treasurer for 25 years, Adult Sunday School Teacher for 7 years, Church Trustee for 14 years, and mowed the church grass for 34 years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle and great uncle. He enjoyed going to church, family and friends, his knives and shooting his guns. He was preceded in death by a son, Gene Harden and a brother, Emory Franklin Harden and a sister, Luellen Taylor.
He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Dorothy Harden; one son: Emory Steve Harden (Donna Moody), Pueblo West, CO; two daughters: Cindy Mills (John D. Jr.), Live Oak, FL, and Sarah Ann Lambert (Robert), Jacksonville, FL; one brother: Jewell David Harden (Carol), Perry, FL; brother in law, Ulis Taylor, Lake City, FL;sister in law, Selma LePage, Perry, FL;
six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, March 15, 2014, at 11:00 A.M., at First Full Gospel Church with
Rev. Ulis Taylor, Pastor Stanley Ellis, and Rev. Cagney Tanner ("Little Preacher") officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Friday, March 14, 2014, at First Full Gospel Church from 6 P.M. to 9 P.M. GATEWAY-FOREST LAWN FUNERAL HOME, 3596 S.
