Mrs. Phyllis Rae Curry, 82 of Lake City, went to be with her Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, July 17, 2024.  Rae, a twin sister, was born in Martinsburg, West Virginia to the late Charles and Marjorie Brichner.  Rae enjoyed knitting, crocheting, word search puzzles and spending time with family.  She is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Hubert Rex Curry, on April 25, 2024; one brother, Bernie Brichner of Dade City, FL.

Rae is survived by her son, Shawn Curry of Fort White; her daughter, Tina Ferguson (Johnnie) of Lake City; granddaughter, Amanda Ferguson of Lake City; her twin sister, Estella Faye Bradshaw of Lake Panasoffkee, FL and her sister, Cathy Clark (Mark) of Old Town, FL; and many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service for Rae will be held on Friday, August 2, 2024 at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church with Pastor Bo Bush officiating.  A time of visitation for family and friends will be from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM and a service from 2:30PM to 3:30 PM.  Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery.
